Invitrogen Pacific Orange is a bright orange-fluorescent dye optimally excited by the 405 nm line of the violet laser, with excitation/emission at 400/551 nm and used primarily in flow cytometry applications. Conjugates of this dye are strongly fluorescent even at neutral pH. Pacific Orange and Pacific Blue dye conjugates can be simultaneously excited at 405 nm and emit at 551 nm and 455 nm respectively, facilitating two-color analysis.
We offer Pacific Orange dye conjugated to a variety of primary antibodies, secondary antibodies and streptavidin. In addition, reactive dyes and protein labeling kits are available to help you produce your own antibody conjugates or probes.

Staining of mouse splenocytes with Pacific Orange conjugated antibody. C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes were stained with CD3e Monoclonal Antibody (145-2C11), eFluor 450 and 0.125 µg of Rat IgG2a kappa Isotype Control (eBR2a), Pacific Orange (left) or 0.125 µg of CD4 Monoclonal Antibody (RM4-5), Pacific Orange (right). Cells in the lymphocyte gate were used for analysis.
We offer Pacific Blue and Pacific Orange dyes, as well as Qdot probes, for use with the violet laser. In addition to primary and secondary antibody conjugates of these dyes, we have developed kits for cell proliferation, immunophenotyping, dead cell discrimination, apoptosis, and cell cycle analysis—all aimed at helping you maximize the data you can get from your violet laser-equipped flow cytometer.
